The Email and Internet: This class is a simple overview designed to familiarize you with these powerful tools of communication and information that we have at our disposal. You will learn how to set up and use and email account and how to find what you are looking for on the internet.

Intro to iPhoto '08:  This workshop covers all the capabilities of Apple’s digital photo software.  Learn how to import, organize, edit, and share digital photos on your computer.  All features of iPhoto will be covered.  Previous general computer knowledge is recommended, the class is introductory.  We use iPhoto ‘06 for this class.


Intro to OS X:  Just bought a Mac?  Saying, “What do I do now?”  This is the class for you.  This class will teach you how to use Mac OS X.  You will learn how to navigate the operating system and how OS X is organized.  This is an introductory class for beginners. We use Mac OS X: 10.5 Leopard, for this class.


Intro to GarageBand:  Did you ever want to compose your own music?  Then this is the class for you.  You will learn how to use Apple’s music creation program and how you can compose your own music.  This class will take you step by step through all the features and tools of GarageBand.  This class is introductory, however previous computer knowledge is recommended. 


Intro to iMovie '08 :  Steven Spielberg will have nothing on you after this class!  This class will take you through the entire process of making an iMovie.  We will cover importing, working with video and audio, as well as transitions, titles, and effects.   Different ways to export your movie will be covered, as well.  Although this class is introductory, previous computer knowledge is required. We use iMovie ‘06 for this class.


Intro to iDVD '08: So you’ve made your iMovie, now what do you do with it.  This class will take you through all the steps necessary to make quality DVD’s using Apple’s easy to use software.  You will learn how to bring your content in, make customized menus and themes, and add still picture slideshows.  This course is introductory, however, computer knowledge and a basic understanding of digital video are recommended.


Intro to iTunes w/ iPod: The iPod!  You’ve just bought one, now how do you make the most of it.  This class will teach you how to use iTunes, Apple’s easy to use music software to get all your content over to your iPod. You will learn how to organize playlists, import music, rip MP3’s, download music and a whole lot more. This is an introductory class.     


Got Data? Learn the 3 W’s of Backup: To teach you What, When and Why to backup your files, and different ways to do so. Who Should Attend: Anybody who has files of any kind on their Macintosh that are valuable to them.
