We want to thank everyone who participated in our MacDog contest. This unique contest was quite a hit with our customers that day, as the following photos will show. However, being as we only had two dogs actually attend, we have decided that the contest is "too close to call" and we will ship prizes to both dogs that attended.

Contestant 1

Gruffydd belongs to Jan Williams from Rocky Hill, NJ. Jan is an officer of the Princeton Macintosh User's Group, and, as you can see, like Mama, like puppy! They came to our event decked out in matching outfits, with their signature PMUG Orange being the predominate color. Thanks to Jan and Gruffydd for attending, it is always good to see our friends from the other side of the Delaware River!

Contestant 2

Gretchyn belongs to JayneMarie (sorry but JayneMarie didn't leave us her last name!) from Computer Forum's hometown of Doylestown, PA. Gretchyn's outfit was a combination of patriotic colors and the coolest technology, as these photos will show. She was a much happier dog after her "earrings" were removed, however! Thanks for joining us at our event!

Honorable Mention

Meet Dottie the Dalmatian, she was saved from neglect by the original owners. Bill Achuff lived next door to the dog, so he witnessed the neglect and felt he had to help her. Several UserGroup members rallied to care for her by building a dog house, feeding her, and ultimately adopting her. Dottie's owner now is Patty Schumacher who is a Bux-Mont MUG member. Unfortunately, Dottie was not able to join us for our MacDog Contest, as she was recovering from surgery, but we wanted to share her picture and her story with everyone, as it is truly a story in the best helping-hands tradition of Mac User's Groups everywhere. Get well soon, Dottie!

Honorable Mention

MLMUG member George Willman's adorable MacDog "Cody" was unable to attend our event, but we wanted to share his photo. Thanks for sending it in to us, George!
